Divert a portion of the defense budget to improve Infrastructure and other more useful things every 5 years.

Created on February 10, 2016

The failed F-35 project reportedly cost 1.5 trillion dollars. There are many projects like these, all siphoning taxpayer's money for little to no return.US defense budget is at a mind-boggling 600 billion. In comparison, China's defense budget is at a measly 210 billion and the Russia defense budget sits at a pathetic 70 billion dollars.1/3 of our defense budget(200 billion) every 5 years to improve infrastructure is a much better way to spend our money.Around 150 billion is required for payroll, leaving 250 billion to spend.US's infrastructure, contrary to its global position is rated D+, with many systems well past their life span. Our navy is bigger than all the Navies in the world combined.Next to china(they have more people), we have the largest standing army.

We are strong enough.
