The purpose of this petition is to take total control of Illinois away from Chicago politics. Illinois does not have concealed carry laws because of Chicago. Illinois has no vote even though south of I-80 is majority conservative Republicans. Gov Quinn won his position by only securing 3 counties in the state and in one county he has taken hundreds of jobs by closing TAMS prison. As we all know Chicago has produced nothing but criminals and crooks when it comes to our leadership. Our economic state has grown worse and worse. This is a plea for help from the people. Since the 1970s, four of Illinois’ seven governors have been convicted (Otto Kerner, Dan Walker, George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich). In addition, dozens of Chicago alderman and other city and county public officials were guilty.
