Divide Oregon into two separate states. Name them East Oregon and West Oregon with highway 97 being the dividing line.

The state of Oregon is a large state with a majority of it's population concentrated in the western urban half of the state. The eastern portion of Oregon consists of mostly rural and small towns which have political views that vary greatly from the western portion of Oregon. The residents of Eastern Oregon have virtually no say when it comes to voting on state issues due to the low population density. If the State was divided into a East and West Oregon the citizens of Eastern Oregon would have a voice for the area they live, work, and play in. Currently the citizens of Western Oregon decide how the citizens of Eastern Oregon will live, work, and enjoy their state. Eastern Oregon becoming a state is the only way for the people who actually live there to have a say in it's management.
