Divide the Presidential Electoral Votes of California into Northern and Southern sections; with the votes split 27 to 28

Created by J.A. on November 13, 2012

As Southern California natives, we feel as though the views may differ then those of the North when it comes time to the election. Whereas this may be the case for most states, considering we have the highest electoral votes(55 votes) than any other state in this country we believe it will
A)increase equality for the candidates
B)create revenue in California, and
C)add to a much closer followed election as California could one day be considered a battleground state.
Doing this will not leave either portion of California feeling as though their votes will not be heard. As a matter of fact, it would leave more voters feeling as their voice would be heard with one half being 27 votes and the other being 28, the second and third highest in the country. We California Natives deserve to be heard!
