Divide the state of New York from New York City and annex the upstate area with Vermont.

The city of New York is a continual drain on the rest of the state and Vermont is awesome. They have Bernie Sanders and Cuomo sucks! New York City and Long Island can join New Jersey and they can suck together. New Jersey can have the name New York. They have always wanted to be New York anyway. Puerto Rico can then be made a state, and we won't have to change the flag.
