There is too much woe and tribulation in America today...nations should be ideologically united. It seems unlikely that, at any time soon, America will reunite.
Divide into two nations that satisfy the needs and desires of its populace. This was and is the spirit of the original American bid for independence. I believe at this point it is the only step towards peace. At least one of them will survive and that is better than the whole sinking into the muck.
