Divide Washington State into two halves along the Cascade Mountains.

Created by C.P. on January 29, 2013

The views, values, and lifestyles of Western Washington and Eastern Washington are extremely diverse—we are practically two separate states already. Regarding the amount of electoral votes for items such as legal marijuana and gay marriage, most of these votes came from the Seattle area in Western Washington; hardly anyone in Eastern Washington wanted either of these. The votes of the Eastern Washington population have little or no effect upon the outcome of these initiatives, our own governor, or the President of the United States. The state is already divided by geography, let's divide it the rest of the way.
