Divide the yearly military funding in half and then give the funding to the 50 states for funding of public education.

The U.S. gives $620,000,000,000.00 to the military each year, this is over four times the funding of any other country. U.S. education is lacking, every year we fall further and further behind in public learning. Today's children shall be the future of this country, they deserve nothing less than the best education that we can afford them.
