This tax reform would give an incentive for Americans to invest in American based companies not companies that are overseas. The Idea is for Americans to help build American companies which will drive job creation and economic growth in America. This tax reform will create an advantage for American based companies by giving them more access to investors then their foreign competitors.
Through tax reform we would creating a higher tax rate on all dividend and capital gains acquired from a foreign company. Then this petition would call for dividend and capital gains from American based companies to be kept the same or even lowered. This would create an incentive based tax program favoring American companies. The thought would be to create a 3 (30% Foreign) to 1 (10% American) tax advantage.
