The DMCA is copyright for the internet, and almost everthing, digitally. Now that YouTube users are posting illegal use of content, like CoolZDane of YouTube who falsely claims the videos are not his under note 3: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use, this is unlawful to America, and the DMCA should be enforced, Any user who uploads a video without the permission from the copyright owner would spend a $500,000 fine and then would be sentenced to prison by federal, state, and local authorites.
