The United States is going to fall behind in solar and wind
energy related projects if:
The proposed end of 1603 is allowed to go through.
Instead, the government needs to create oversight that
keeps a closer watch on how the funds are spent.
Solyndra, for example was guilty of gross negligence and unsound fiscal practices. The amount of money they were
funded with should have been more than enough to build
their business. Instead, they were allowed to use the money without restriction to need. Add addendum to the
bill that puts the controls into multiple faceted systems.
Accounting for where and when the money "needs" to be spent. I am a full proponent of alternative energy, and I believe that 1603 should be extended.
