The president promised amnesty for illegal immigrants this in his term and we have yet to see this happen. It would be great to see what President Clinton did over 10 yrs ago so we can see what a great president Obama is.
As it currently stands, if an illegal immigrant wishes to become a legal resident, by means of marriage to a US citizen or other means, the illegal immigrant must apply for residency and go to Mexico to await their interview which could possibly take up to a year. Meanwhile the family of that illegal immigrant (wife and kids) are stuck in the United States alone trying to make ends meet and praying that their husband (father) comes back.
