Do away with the 2nd Term Presidential Inauguration Ceremony(when the incumbent wins a second term).

Created by B.F. on November 13, 2012

The Constitution of the United States does not mandate the need for an Inauguration Ceremony. The only element mandated by the U.S. Constitution is that the president make an oath before he can enter the office of the presidency. There is no need for a lavish ceremony. The last inauguration in 2009 cost taxpayers $49 million. Donors paid an additional $100 million for the ceremony. As a middleclass taxpaying American, I do not wish to contribute to such an unnecessary event. That state of the U.S. economy needs everyone to make fiscally sound decisions NOW.
