The official government acknowledgement of these two ethnic oriented months is prejudice and unfair to other ethnic groups that are not recognized. Equality doesn't mean single out a group for praise based on their past in this country, it means making them indistinguishable in praise and right from all others. American equality is certainly better than identifying these ethnic groups as separate from others simply because they are different.
