The new CSA program implemented in 2010 is hurting many of the drivers on the road today, they are eliminating the more experienced drivers and forcing companies to hire untrained less qualified drivers for the job. The feds limit our hours to 70 hours in 8 days, making it so we may only work 8,75 hours a day total, give us a total of 88 hours in 8 days allowing us to work an 11 hour day rather than just 8.75. Bring back the 5 and 5 split. Do away with proposed electronic on board recorders, this is an invasion of privacy, we are adults not children. We should be able to work when we need to and sleep when we need to without the fear of being in violation. Allow us to do our job as we are physically able not as they feel we should.
