Do Away with Daylight Savings Time In the US

Created by K.M. on March 14, 2014

Daylight Savings Time is ''supposed to help with 1 extra hour of daylight''. That is a definite lie. It is at the expense of a precious hour of sleep. That means that students could fall asleep in class, be hyped up on sugar and caffeine, or worse, clumsier than usual. Some of the things in the last sentence could also apply to adults, except that adults could possibly fall asleep on the job, which usually follows with disastrous results. If Daylight Savings Time were to be abolished, everyone would be able to get whatever they had to get done without the possibility of falling asleep at random.
