Not only is DLS an incredibly inconvenient and severely antiquated system, it costs the economy billions of dollars in wasted man hours and it has been proven to cause more traffic accidents than it prevents. DLS began during WWI and WWII as a way to save fuel that was being used on petroleum powered lighting. Over millennia, the human body has been programmed to respond to the rising and setting sun. Constantly changing our sleep patterns makes us less intelligent and less efficient. To make matters worse, congress feels the need to keep changing the program causing us to have spend even more time and money on re-tooling and reconfiguring automated processes. Just imagine what Microsoft had to spend in 2007 when, again, congress decided to tinker with the clock. Please end DLS.
