In the beginning when the electoral college was started, it was needed. In todays time with the advances we have, there is no need for electoral colleges. The president and vice president should be elected by we the people. On both sides of the political fence, candidates have lost, correction America has lost, since the majority of the US voting population went for one candidate, and the electoral college went to the other candidate. Presidency should be won by majority vote of WE THE PEOPLE!!
