The electoral college makes no since and gets in the way of accurately electing officials the majority of the population. For an example it is a fact that the majority of Americans wanted Al Gore for president but George Bush was elected because of the electoral college. The electoral college also makes a republican vote in California and a democratic vote in Tennessee basically useless.
