We call on Congress to do away with the Electoral College. We currently have technology that would enable our country to efficiently tally the popular vote. There is no need for the electoral college. Our democracy is by the people and for the people. When the president elect does not reflect the popular demand in our nation, our democracy is not working the way it is intended to. Because of this, we call on Congress to do away with the Electoral College and, from here on out, elect presidents based on popular demand.
