I under stand how the Electoral College voting system works. But its not a good thing. The Electoral College is just an indirect way of electing the President and has been used since George Washington's first term in office. But, it is still a very insignificant way of electing the President and that is one of the big reasons states are wanting secession again. I understand the government has tried to do away with this system before, but failed. And in 2000 if we wouldn't have had the Electoral College voting system, Albert Gore would have won the Presidency. It also happened with Benjamin Harrison and Grover Cleveland in 1888. And again in 1876 with Rutherford Hayes, and Samuel Tilden. It is simply not fair, and is in need for a change.
