do away with income tax

They say 50% of the people don't pay their taxes. When you work you should keep your money every week and instead of doing your taxes every April, you will be paying more taxes on goods. This way everyone that buys something would pay the tax and make up for the 50% ( or most of )that don't. People would have more money in their pocket which would make them able to spend more. This would only apply to people that are employees . Businesses would still be taxable on profits. I'm not sure on numbers but maybe you can give it a trial run and see what would happen. Also, instead of helping other countries with their wars, maybe you should tell the UN that America needs to take care of it's self. We need to be a strong nation again and maybe that would help the economy. Thanks , Joe Sardi
