do away with the open enrollment period for health insurance companies.

Created by L.F. on February 26, 2016

End open enrollment periods for insurance companies. This is used as a form of legal extortion. They are not informing members of changes to Insurance plans until they find out when seeking coverage after Jan 31st, when open enrollment ends. Further, it goes without saying, the health insurance consumer received no indication of said changes, written or otherwise, prior too discovery when services are sought after Jan 31st. Insurance companies need to be honest, or run the risk of losing the client and premium payments.
