Our Congress and the Presidency has become limited to a two-party system in our country, the Republicans and the Democrats.
We cannot seem to overhaul the campaign funding laws in the US. Therefore because of the power, money, lobbyists, and special interest groups involved in our oligarchy in the US, we do not have fair elections. Nobody but the wealthy can be elected in our country. Billions was spent with Super Pac Funding in this last election.
I propose to do away with parties and just have individuals names on the ballots and no party on them. Individuals must only be allowed to raise their funds through grassroot funding to get on the ballots.
We need to stop the terrible arguing that goes on between the two parties in Washington and GET SOMETHING DONE!
