Do away with SIS/ Programs that wrongly catch students up on credits just so they can be passed to graduate.

Created by W.C. on June 17, 2013

My school has a program called SIS and what it is used for is to catch students up on credits they are insufficient in, which I believe is fine in some circumstances such as myself. I left my home school to attend a career vocational school, but I later found that I needed two semesters of gym to graduate so I thought "Okay, I guess I can stay after school and walk in the gym.", but no. I was sat in a computer lab where I answered a series of questions about certain activities and health. All in all it took 2 hours to complete a semester of gym. This program though is mostly used as a fallback when the students slack off in class and our school fears we won't reach our prided graduation rate, passing them by with this easy way out method and I feel that education is being cheated this way
