Do away with some coin currency. Begin using platsic currency. Its cheaper than coin and more durable than paper.

Plastic money lasts two to five times longer than paper, performs better in machines, and is harder to counterfeit. Unlike paper, it doesn't shed bits of ink and dust that disable ATMs. It stays cleaner and less grubby than paper money, because the non-porous surface doesn't absorb perspiration, body oils, or liquids. In fact, the plastic money is virtually waterproof. Actually, plastic money can take a lot of abuse. Plastic money is also less likely to spread disease, because it's harder for bacteria to cling to the slick, non-absorbent surface. The US will pay less for plastic money. The plastic bank notes cost more to print but their longer life means the US will end up printing fewer bills and save money in the long run.
