As a legislative process for policy-making already exists, the White House should stop accepting these online White House Petitions*, as they have little utility other than an outlet for citizen frustrations, are a distraction from the actual policy problems our country now faces, and cannot be addressed without undermining the separation of powers prescribed in the United States Constitution.
