There are currently several states that allow educators to teach children alternative views on evolution. We must do everything in our power to stop this.

Creationism is not an equally valid alternative to evolution.
We must not nurture the creation of a society that believes science is just one more attempt at explaining the universe. We have separated the philosophy and physics departments for a reason, let's make sure they stay that way. If we don't do this, we might as well teach children about the Loch Ness Monster monster and Santa.
