The Harlem Shake is a true testament to the brilliance and creative energy of the urban population of the United States of America. It is a world-wide phenomenon that has captivated the hearts and minds of so many people of such diverse backgrounds. The Harlem Shake speaks to a new future- one in which we might come together, as a people, and, despite our differences, dance as if no one is watching. We, the signatories of this petition, believe that if the Obama Administration were to engage in the Harlem Shake we will move one step closer to that world.
