It's seems our lawmakers are taking the easy way out by ignoring the issue of sensible gun ownership laws inspite the high number of firearm related deaths that we see in this country every year. One can only assume that this administration and the lawmakers are incapable of relating to the tremendous loss a family and community has to go through every time someone is killed by a random bullet fired by a random individual who is obviously sick but still has innumerable channels to access firearms of the most dangerous type. It's time to show moral leadership on this issue and find common ground that can produce sensible and common sense gun laws. A good starting point can be the proposals of Brady campaign that bars convicted felons/domestic abusers, terrorists and mentally ill people.
