Under the U.S. Constitution, the Federal Government is responsible for securing our borders. So far, they have done a really poor job at taking care of this responsibility. This petition was created to petition the Obama Administration to do its job, create a full border fence. This action will help secure our borders from illegal immigration and terrorist infiltration, will help bolster our efforts in the war on drugs, will create hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of much needed American jobs, will help save our currently failing entitlement programs that were designed to assist US CITIZENS, will help salvage our overburdened medical and education systems, will create fairness for those who have been working long and hard to come here legally...the list goes on.
