Some of the previous gun massacres were done by assailants with mental health issues. I feel that if there was some way for gun retailers to run a mental health background check on individuals purchasing a gun it could help eliminate some of this from happening. People with mental health issues should be more limited based on their illness. Both mental background and criminal background checks should be ran not just by by state which they are purchasing the gun but they should be checked in all states in case that person has moved and has a criminal past.
