Created by J.S. on December 31, 2012

On Nov. 06, 2012, the people of Puerto Rico were asked to vote in their decision to reflect on the political status of the island territory. 54% of Puerto Ricans voted to reject its current territorial status as an unincorporated territory of the United States, in a second question 61% favoured acceptance in joining the United States of America as the newest & 51st state. What has President Barack Obama done after promising action after a clear majority of votes were registerd into the polls? ...A simple reminder to congress of the polls results on the islands decision. Do you really think congress didn't already know this? Lets remind the much respected, re-elected, reinvigorated President to hear the voice of his island citizens who also refer to him as Mr President.
