Shell Corp wants to drill oil in the Arctic with a rig called the Noble Discoverer (which has repeatedly been the cause of spills and crashes). This rig was one of the reasons that Shell had to pull out and they want to return with reduced safety regulations to make it easier and less expensive with this same rig that has been a source for several environmental disasters.
Please protect the environment. Do not allow Shell to Drill in the Arctic (or if you do TIGHTEN restrictions & do not allow them to send the Noble Discoverer rig). Focus on other energy sources, instead. Encourage innovation, rather than profit-driven business.
