This is a call to our President to Veto any legislation that would arm rebels in the Middle-east. Congress and the White House are currently trying to pass legislation that would give Syrian rebels weapons and training. The current resolution being approved in Congress would give $500 million in tax money to arm rebels.
We have continued to arm rebel groups, only to have them later fall in the wrong hands and be used against us. Previous instances of arming rebels that fell into the wrong hands include weapon hand-outs to Libyan rebels in Qatar in 2012, where the weapons fell almost immediately into the wrong hands of Islamic Militants
Because of the nature of turmoil in the Middle-east and our previous lack of ability to keep accountability for the weapons. We should NOT arm the Rebels!
