Trade Promotion or Fast Track authority circumvents Article1-8 of the Constitution by greatly limiting representative government, as the procedure takes away the ability to amend a bill and only allows an up or down vote. It interferes with the separation of powers by handing the president our representation in Washington. The Founders intended our representatives to make decisions based on their constituents' needs, not for the desires of trans-national corporate interests. Fast track is only used to limit public discussion and review, for so-called free trade agreements, like NAFTA, CAFTA, WTO. President Obama wants to resurrect this outdated procedure to pass two enormous "free trade" agreements, TPP and TTIP, Tell Obama, "NO" to Fast Track! Stop the global race to the bottom.
