Since the introduction of Darwin's Theory of Evolution, the controversy between Evolution and Creationism/Intelligent Design has existed. The "scientific" facts do not support either as conclusive or absolute, they are simply "theories". It should then be left to each individual to examine the evidence and determine which provides the most compelling argument and make his/her final decision.
It should not be a determination made by a federal law which theory is to be taught, in the science classroom, as "fact".
Therefore, we petition the Obama Administration not to ban or inhibit these or any teachings that contradict Evolution.
