In the wake of the latest mass shooting (the CT one, as of this writing) CNN host Piers Morgan made comments supporting gun control. As a result, some are requesting his deportation to Britain.
His opinions are shared by millions of Americans, are not threatening to anyone, and so are well within the limits of legal public discourse.
Morgan's British nationality gives him a unique outsider perspective on our society, and that should be valued and not punished.
