Do not get involved in Syria's civil war! Where would USA be if France or Spain helped the south in American Civil War?

Created by N.S. on June 15, 2013

As a nation that went through our own, very bloody Civil War, what right do we have to interfere in another nation's civil war. The American Civil War left over 600,000 dead in 4 years. In little over 2 years the death toll in Syria is less than 100,000. As you can see our own bloodbath was far worse than what is happening in Syria.

Where would we be now if other nations had interfered with our own civil war? Would the Confederate States of America be a separate nation today? It is not our place to interfere in any way with the internal politics or disputes of any other nation. If we choose to be the peacekeeper of the world, we should only be getting involved if & when one nation is attacking another nation.
