Despite another petition demanding the removal of this service, I submit that some idiots should not have the power to steal the rights of other idiots. Just because some petitions are stupid doesn't mean we should give up the right to have a convenient method to voice our legitimate concerns to our federal government. Though I also have wondered at the laughable nature of many of these petitions, especially where the federal government is being petitioned to change state law (duh, petition that state), I feel that this site gives us as Americans an open forum to bring our concerns to light, working as an extension of our freedom of speech & it should not be stripped from us all because some choose to abuse it.
