There is an overwhelming majority of legal United States citizens who are against amnesty for illegal immigrants. It is unconstitutional for them to be here and receive government benefits. Our hard earned tax dollars have given housing, food, medical care, and education to illegal immigrants for years, yet our debt is out of control. How much money can be saved and used for legal citizens if we stop giving it to illegal ones? No other country treats illegal citizens with such kid gloves. We should also, make English the official languages of the United States to prevent language barriers and encourage assimilation. You're worried about division in the country?
