Providing lethal aid to Syrian rebels only prolongs the conflict and leads to greater loss of life. It also introduces the possibility that weapons provided to Syrian rebels end up in the hands of terrorists, to be used against U.S. interests in the region. Stay out of the conflict in Syria, the U.S. has no business intervening there.
