if you decide to pardon a Mr. Bowe Bergdahl, someone who freely walked off base and deserted his unit in a combat zone, it will cause a huge hit to the morale of the entire military. You are the Commander-in-Chief of the entire military and it's your DUTY to do what is best for the military, NOT do what is best for one man. Seeing as the Army has charged Mr. Bergdahl, that shows they have sufficient evidence of the crimes he's charged with, thus charging him was to preserve good order and discipline. If he were to be pardoned, it would set a bad precedent, for future individuals during times if war. Mr. President, morale and good order and discipline, please do not pardon Bowe Bergdahl.
