George Zimmerman has been tried by a jury of his peers and found not guilty. The prosecution was unable to show evidence of a crime or even that he should have been charged at all. Do not allow the Department of Justice to further degrade our justice system by pursuing a civil rights charge against Mr. Zimmerman because certain individuals and organizations do not wish to accept the verdict. Do not allow racial politics to pervert justice. We are a nation of laws, not a nation of mob rule. Our nation moved beyond that long ago and there are those who wish to return us to the "bad old days". Lead Mr. President. Stand for equality and yell from your bully pulpit that we will not pervert the law and unjustly persecute a human being to assuage the anger of the mob.
