This is a call to all responsible elected officials to make a commitment to stop the madness of running up an apparently infinite and out-of-control national debt.
A vote for this petition, is a call to the US Congress and the US President to adhere to the current law regarding the Debt Ceiling and by refusing to raise it, making it by definition, a REAL CEILING that can not be breached... ever again.
The result will be a country that lives within its means and fiscal responsibility for the USA and its posterity.
