People of an ethnic and religious minotity were declared non-citizens after having held citizenship and owning property in Myanmar by the military led government in charge of Myanmar. Even the New Democratic govt will not be obliged to help this minotity because even though it's the morally right thing to do, the majority ethnicity will probably not support it, unless US govt puts pressure on the new Myanmar govt to restore the human rights and dignity to their Rohingya citizens.
