By giving up what control we have over ICANN we are potentially giving up our freedom of speech, human rights, liberty to know the truth, technological advances, and one of the greatest, if not the greatest, invention created in our history. The internet was founded by the USA and should be protected by the USA to uphold our freedoms of expression. By releasing ourselves from ICANN we are basically giving away what drives our current economy on the hope it continues. This appears nothing more than trying to enforce censorship without taking the blame for it, prove us wrong and keep our stake in ICANN for our economic investment and continue to protect the internet with our beloved constitutional rights. The world needs us to hold onto it. Thank you.
