DO NOT “Remove the words "In God we trust" from U.S. currency and as the official national motto of the United States.”

Created by T.M. on November 19, 2015

The petition to remove “In God we trust” should not succeed. The founding fathers included this phrase and it should stay on all currency as they wanted. I know we live in a very diversely religious country, but no matter what your personal belief is, this country was founded on the belief that God is a higher power. The majority of people in this country have positive religious beliefs in a higher power. For those who do not want to live in a county that believes in God as a higher power, then they should move somewhere else. The minority is important to listen to, but in this instance they do not believe in what the majority believes in and “In God we trust” should stay on all currency.
