I will never say that a hunter should be disallowed to own their hunting equipment--I will however, say that the "hunting rifle" category should be better defined, and should be, along with handguns, the only weapons allowed in the home.
High-capacity military grade weapons, however, should be restricted to gun range storage--you can OWN the weapon, but you cannot leave the target range with one. This might help make massacres on the level of Sandy Hook in the future more difficult, while allowing those who still stand by the Second Amendment to feel secure in their ownership of a weapon.
I do not, nor will I ever, believe in violence or weapons or war as a solution to any problem you want to permanently solve, but I understand the feelings that others have, and the uncertainty of today.
