Do not send US military aid to dictators! Support thousands of Human Rights and Democracy activists jailed in Egypt!

Created by M.S. on October 26, 2014

Since July 2013, thousands of Democracy and Human Rights activists are detained in the Egyptian prisons by the current military regime. Field Marshal El Sisi continues, however, to lobby for receiving military and economic support.

On August 2014, Human Rights Watch published a full documentary on the massacres of hundreds of civilians in Cairo summer 2013. HRW was thereafter denied access to the country. http://www.hrw.org/reports/2014/08/12/all-according-plan-0

It is shameful that in a moment in which people like Ahmed Maher, Mohamed Adel, Ahmed Douma and thousands others are detained and threatened even of death penalty, such a regime could be recognised as a representative of a new post-Tahrir Egypt of Rights and Liberties.
